Cancellation policy

61+ days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee.
0–60 days before arrival: 100% cancellation fee.
Flight and road-transfer cancellations are subject to the respective supplier’s policy.

Child policy

Children of all ages are welcome at River Lodge, Southern Camp and Karula.
Family unit rates accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under 12.
Children under 12 sharing with two adults pay 50% of the per-person rate.
No children under 16 may stay at Buffalo Camp or join bush walks.
Guests up to 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult on game drives.
Children aged 6–12 may join game drives at the ranger’s discretion with a responsible adult.
Children under 6 may not join game drives.

Deposits and payment terms

Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% deposit, due within 2 days.
30–90 days before arrival: 25% deposit, due within 7 days.
90–365 days before arrival: 10% deposit, due within 14 days.
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation fees equal the required deposit, and cancellations must be submitted by email.

Conservation levy

A conservation levy applies to guests of all ages and is payable in full before arrival. The contribution supports conservation and anti-poaching work. Levies increase on 20 December each year.

Included in rates

Road transfers between your Kapama lodge and Eastgate / Hoedspruit Airport.
Three meals daily, teatime refreshments and selected local and premium beverages.
Two daily game drives in open safari vehicles with experienced guides.
Twice-daily housekeeping.
Rates apply to FIT and group bookings and remain subject to change.

Excluded from rates

Conservation levy.
Telephone calls, shop purchases, spa treatments and laundry.
Personal bar purchases not included in the selected rate.

Terms and conditions

Rates are per person sharing per night, except family units which are per unit per night.
Single supplements apply to eligible suites, villas and tents.
Rates remain subject to availability and may change at any time.
Family-suite at Kapama River Lodge and family-villas at Kapama Southern Camp occupancy is limited to 2 adults and 2 children under 12.
Family Villa at Karula occupancy is limited to 4 guests
Bush-walk participation is at lodge management and guide discretion; the minimum age is 16.
Kapama Private Game Reserve may withdraw promotions and specials at any time.

Indemnity

All guests will be required to sign an indemnity form on arrival. Guests will be expected to provide ID and/or Passports upon arrival at the lodge. Availability remains subject to final confirmation and the lodge cancellation policy.
